Dr. Florence Fellmann, MD, PhD, is a physician specialized in medical genetics. She received her medical degree in France and practiced as a medical geneticist in Besançon University hospital for 11 years. In 2005, Dr Fellmann joined the Service of Medical Genetics in CHUV Lausanne as an associate medical doctor until 2017. She held afterward positions in Luxemburg and Paris before joining Gene Predictis in November 2022. During her carrier Dr Fellmann has participated and collaborated in research and studies of many genetic disorders that have resulted in several dozen publications in high profile journals. Particularly interested in practical, ethical, and social issues (PELSI) in the evolving field of human genomics, she has been a member of the Public and Professional Policy Committee (PPPC) of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG). She is an expert in genomic medicine in particular genetic diseases in adults and cardiogenetics.
