She then studied human hereditary disorders and, in 1999, earned Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. In 2000 she moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where she worked in the filed of RNA research and was awarded her second Ph.D. in Biology in 2004, from the University of Geneva. Her postdoctoral research was focused on molecular mechanisms involved in various genetic diseases. During her academic career, Dr. Tanackovic successfully led various research projects, obtained numerous research grants, and results of her work are recognized through the publications in high-impact per-reviewed journals.<\/p>\n<p>In parallel with her Ph.D. studies, Dr. Tanackovic successfully completed entrepreneurship program of \u201cCreate\u201d Switzerland (2002) and was one of the winners of \u201cVenture Leaders\u201d program in 2003.
