Dr Martin Hergersberg
Dr Martin Hergersberg joined Gene Predictis in January 2017 as the alternate FAMH in Genetics. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1988 at Max-Planck-Institut for breeding research in Cologne, Germany and his FAHM title in genetics in 2001.
He worked as head of the laboratory of molecular diagnostics at the Institute of Medical Genetics of Zürich University; Head of the laboratory of molecular biology at the Zentrum für Labormedizin at Kantonsspitals in Aarau, Head deputy of the laboratory of medical genetics at the Zentrum für Labormedizin des Kantonsspitals Aarau; Laboratoire de Diagnostique Moléculaire at the Service de Génétique Médicale at CHUV Lausanne; Head of Genetic Diagnosis at the Institute of Laboratory Medicine at the Solothurner Spitäler AG and, Head deputy of the labs for molecular diagnostics and of human genetics at Unilabs Dübendorf. He is currently also Responsible Specialist for Human Genetics at the Zentrum für Labormedizin at Kantonsspital St.Gallen.
He has a strong background in genetics and molecular biology.
